A crown is what we call in ‘laymen language’ a cap which will be fixed upon your treated tooth which is either root canal treated or extensively damaged due to another reason, also where any other restoration does not retain.
The crown bears all the forces of chewing/mastication and let your tooth rest underneath without any fear of fracture.
It becomes essential to give a crown in a root canal treated teeth where the tooth structure damage is more then 25%.

Bridge is like bridging two teeth together to replace a missing teeth. It is a reliable and fixed solution for your missing teeth in front and back.it can last from 10 to 15 years, and can be considered as partial replacement of missing teeth.
